Arun Chaudhary

Arun Chaudhary is a former Indian Police Service (IPS) officer who served as Director General, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) from 2012 to 2014, and Special Director General (Airport Security) in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) from 2011-2012. Prior to this, he served as the Joint Director and Additional Director in-charge of J&K state at Srinagar from 2007-2009. During his tenure in the Intelligence Bureau (IB), he received the Indian Police Medal for Meritorious Service in 1996 and the President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service in 2002. He was also awarded the Vijay Star for his contribution during the Kargil operations.
