Onkar Marwah

Onkar Marwah is a former IAS officer and Visiting Faculty at JNU. He was selected for both the Indian Foreign and Administrative Service in 1959. He joined the latter and served in various capacities both at the state and Central government levels. Subsequently he reverted back to further studies and pursued an academic career with faculty appointments at universities in Europe and   North America. These includes: Clark University (International Relations)Cornell University (Peace Studies Program), Harvard University ( John F. Kennedy School of Government), Geneva University (Graduate Institute of International Relations) He was also the visiting faculty of Jawaharlal Nehru University , New Delhi and University of Kenya , Nairobi. He has authored four books and over hundred articles in Indian and foreign scholarly journals.
