and weapons reduction treaty to cooperating in the field
of outer space and high technology R&D.

As a part of the study, the institute organized a
conference in Beijing looking into the following issues:
Border issues, maritime patrolling, strategic linkages with
other Asian countries and trade between the two nations
were other important aspects that were discussed during
the conference. The above study is likely to be published
in 2012 by Routledge India.
Economic Activity along the Sino-Indian Border Area
This study looks into the issues of current restrictions on
goods traded through land customs stations imposed
by respective governments and traditional and possible
routes for informal and formal trade.
