ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Dr Amit Gupta is Associate Professor, Department of Strategy and International Security Studies, US Air Force (USAF) Air War College. He worked as Assistant and Associate Professor, Stonehill College from 1997 to 2000, and as Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois from 1995 till 1997. He was an Instructor at Illinois Wesleyan University for a year in 1994-1995. He is the author of Building an Arsenal (Praeger), and co-editor with Raju GC Thomas of India’s Nuclear Security (Lynne Rienner). Dr Gupta was educated at the University of Delhi and the Australian National University, and has a PhD from the University of Illinois.
