Over the years, the IPCS has
brought together a group of 150 scholars, media persons, former officials,
both civilian and military, including those from the Foreign Service and
paramilitary forces, to join its regular seminars that are arranged on a
weekly or fortnightly basis. These are joined on a routine basis by serving
officials, who are also invited to address the group on subjects of topical
interest. This group provides a pool of potential invitees for other seminars
and conferences organized by the IPCS for visiting scholars and officials.
