On 22 April 2018, IPCS and Amar Ujala launched the two institutions' joint initiative, 'Living History', in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. H E Mr Hamid Karzai, former president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, delivered the keynote address at the inaugural tranche of this initiative. The Keynote Address was followed by a conversation between Mr Karzai and Ms Suhasini Haidar, Deputy Resident Editor & Diplomatic Affairs Editor, The Hindu, on the concept of living history and its contours and manifestations, and concluded after an extended Q&A with the audience.
